Someone born on March 12, 1990 is 35 years, 2 months, and 8 days old on May 20, 2025. The result uses calendar months, so month lengths are handled instead of being treated as a flat 30 days.
Years can contain 365 or 366 days, and calendar months vary in length. Exact age uses calendar boundaries rather than an average year length.
The elapsed time still follows the actual calendar, including leap years. Legal birthday rules for February 29 can vary by location, so check the relevant rule if eligibility is involved.
