Ah, Mercury Retrograde. It’s the cosmic event that gets everyone talking (and sometimes, worrying). You know, the times when your phone crashes, your laptop decides to update at the most inconvenient time, or when miscommunications seem to be the order of the day. Have you ever found yourself asking, “Is Mercury in Retrograde?”

What is Mercury Retrograde?

Now, let me share a little story from my life. It was during one of these Mercury Retrograde periods that I decided to upgrade my phone (rookie mistake!). Despite the friendly sales assistant assuring me that all my contacts and photos would transfer to the new device, something went wrong. Very wrong.
I found myself with a brand new phone, but without my treasured photos and a large chunk of my contact list. As frustrating as it was, I took it as a lesson from the universe to slow down, triple-check things, and maybe not make significant tech changes during a Mercury Retrograde period!

So, how do we know if Mercury is in retrograde right now? Unfortunately, I can’t create a real-time tool that always shows the answer. However, there are plenty of online resources that provide this information:

It’s essential to remember, though, that while Mercury Retrograde can bring some hiccups, it’s not all doom and gloom. These periods can also be an excellent time for reflection, reassessment, and reviewing your plans. So, even when things seem to be going haywire, try to take a step back and look for the silver lining. It’s there, I promise!
