Timely.is Tweet Automation

Timely is a really simple tweet automation service by the creators of Flowtown. If you like an as-is service that posts Tweets at times it deems appropriate either 1, 3, 5 or 9 times a day, then this is the web app for you.

“What we do is analyze your past 199 tweets and figure out the best time slots. We then use this info to auto-schedule your tweets and learn as your followers grow.”

However, it serverly lacks advanced control. It automatically uses the short URL service awe.sm, which although seems like a good shortening service. It doesn’t allow the use of any others except bit.ly. Along with this, there is no way to schedule tweets for a particular day or time. When it comes to simplicity, timely is great. The website is atheistically really well designed and is mostly smooth, occasionally tripping up and requiring a refresh.

There aren’t too many good free automated tweet tools, so this could be a great option for a number of Twitter users who don’t want their tweets to go unread.
